In May 2000, after many years as an RN at a busy hospital, I knew the time had come to follow my heart and pursue my passion— ceramic art in all its many wonderful forms and textures.

 

I founded The Bright Side Studio specializing in brightly colored handmade pottery, ceramics and tiles. I have been to many awesome venues throughout California and the US with my art pieces, including the awesome Philadelphia Art Show in 2008.

 

In March 2020, as Coronavirus spread throughout our world, I became interested in rock painting. A lovely neighbor had passed one along to me to bring good cheer. Within a few weeks, I was learning new rock painting styles online, and incorporated my Bright Side positivity into my creations.

 

These make excellent gifts— for yourself or others. They are each hand-painted by me, and finished with varnish for extra shine and durability. They make awesome, sweet gifts for friends and family... but don’t forget about yourself!
